Services
At Abernethy Owens we understand the importance of keeping your eyes in optimal condition. Our fully qualified Optometrists have a wealth of experience in both eye care and eye wear. From initial consultation and eye examination through to the recommendation of suitable treatments and products as well as ongoing eye maintenance, we strive to achieve 100% patient satisfaction through the provision of quality eye care.
Our Optometrists are registered and qualified to:
- Examine your eyes for vision disorders
- Prescribe, supply and repair spectacles
- Detect and diagnose signs of eye disease
- Specialised contact lens fitting for conditions such as keratoconus and corneal grafts
- Prescribe and supply contact lenses
- Analyse and treat eye coordination disorders
- Advise on eye safety requirements for home and industry
- Refer you to an Ophthalmologist or General Practitioner if required
- Our Optometrists are therapeutically certified to prescribe medications
- Urgent care for eye injuries and problems
